AC/DC

The AC/DC Tribute bike "Back in Black" was a three month job, start to finish. It goes without saying that the customer who commissioned it is a massive AC/DC fanatic, and, as it turned out, the band proved to be a superb theme around which to build a bike.

Engine
Harley-Davidson Twin Cam, stock carb with MoFlo air cleaner, LA Choppers 2-into-2 exhaust pipes, 5 speed gearbox, stock primary drive assembly, one-off inspection cover with AC/DC logo.

Frame
Harley Davidson Softail front loop, one-off widened swingarm.

Front End
Stock length Pro-One telescopic forks in Accutronix yokes with integral 7-degree rake, on-off black anodised 3”x21” wheel by Rick’s, single Harrison Billet-6 caliper, slotted disc, Zodiac pullback tee handlebars, NessTech grips and levers, Fred Kodlin headlight.
Rear End
One-off widened/offset swingarm kit and pivot bolt, one-off black anodised 9”x18” Rick’s wheel, Harrison Billet-4 caliper, slotted disc, integral mudguard struts, one-off black anodised AC/DC axle covers, sidemount taillight/number plate, mini indicators.
Stuff
One-off sculptured fuel tank and rear mudguard, LePera Bare Bones sols seat with stitching to match by Stuart Baillie, Zodiac forward controls, chin fairing. Machining by Richard Bower, fabrication by Ali Grant at Bike Paints, designed and built by Colin Rutherford.
